Study in Canada

Choose a Canadian programme for its academic fit, not just its location. Compare universities and colleges, plan your budget and understand admission requirements before applying.

University & Course Selection

Compare the qualification, curriculum, institution and province together. A degree, college diploma and graduate certificate are not interchangeable.

  • Explore business, computing, engineering, health sciences and other subjects against your prior studies.
  • Check the institution on the official Designated Learning Institution list; DLI status alone does not establish post-graduation work eligibility.
  • Compare course modules, accreditation where relevant, practical learning and international student support.

Admission & Eligibility

Each institution sets its own academic and language requirements; admission is assessed individually.

  • Undergraduate applicants usually need school transcripts and programme-specific prerequisite subjects.
  • Postgraduate applicants should check degree equivalence, minimum grades, relevant experience and any research or portfolio requirements.
  • Verify accepted English or French language evidence and required scores on the exact programme page.

Application Stages & Planning

Begin research well before your intended intake. Starting around a year ahead is a planning suggestion, not a fixed admissions deadline.

  • Research courses and entry criteria; build a calendar from institution-published dates.
  • Prepare transcripts, language results, references and any statement or portfolio required; submit complete applications.
  • Review offer conditions, refund terms and deposits before accepting. Follow current study-permit requirements only after checking your eligibility.
  • Many institutions have autumn starts; winter and summer availability varies. Scholarship deadlines may be earlier, and processing times are not guaranteed.

Tuition & Living Costs

Build a programme-specific budget in Canadian dollars using the university's current international fee schedule. There is no single Canada-wide price.

  • Include tuition, compulsory fees, insurance, books and any programme equipment.
  • Compare housing, food and transport in the actual city; add travel, application charges and a contingency.
  • Study-permit financial evidence is a separate requirement and can change. Do not assume part-time work will fund your studies.

Scholarships & Funding

Check the institution's international entrance awards and, for research degrees, department funding and supervisor opportunities.

  • Read the award's nationality, academic, programme and intake restrictions; some awards require a separate application.
  • EduCanada lists scholarship opportunities, but not every scheme is open to Indian applicants or full-degree students.
  • Budget on confirmed funds only. Admission does not automatically include a scholarship.

Student Permit Guidance

Use Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada's current instructions. Admyted provides educational planning and document-checklist guidance, not a government approval service.

  • Check the letter of acceptance, financial evidence and any provincial or territorial attestation requirement or exemption applicable to your case.
  • Quebec has additional procedures; medical, biometrics and other requirements depend on the applicant.
  • Study-permit and post-graduation work rules are separate. No admission offer guarantees permission to enter, work or remain in Canada.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I choose a university or a college?

Compare the qualification level, subject, entry requirements and progression options. A college programme may be appropriate for some goals, while others require a university degree. Check recognition for your intended profession.

Is every Canadian programme eligible for post-graduation work?

No. DLI status alone is not enough. Check the exact institution and programme against current IRCC eligibility rules, including qualification, language and field-of-study requirements where applicable.

How much should I budget?

Use your chosen institution's published international tuition plus the actual city's accommodation, living expenses, insurance and travel. Check the current financial-evidence rules separately; we do not quote a universal fee or promise funding.

Can Admyted guarantee admission or a permit?

No. Institutions decide admissions and funding, and Canadian authorities decide study permits. Our support helps you understand choices and prepare applications; it cannot guarantee an outcome.

Which Admyted package should I choose?

Discovery supports country and course clarity; Launchpad provides D-I-Y application support. Premium and VIP provide broader application support. Review current inclusions and prices on Services & Pricing before booking.
