Your Germany Study Plan
Germany: Course Selection & Eligibility
Use DAAD's programme search and the university's own entry criteria. Check whether your Indian school or degree qualification meets the exact admission route; some applicants need preparatory study. English-taught and German-taught programmes have different language requirements. Master's courses commonly assess subject credits and degree relevance.
Germany: Application Stages & Timing
Start with the programme calendar, then prepare transcripts, language evidence and any required references or motivation letter. Applications may go directly to the university or through uni-assist. Check whether APS verification applies to your Indian qualifications. Winter and summer starts vary by programme; deadlines and processing periods are not universal.
Germany: Tuition & Living Budget
Many public programmes have no tuition, but semester contributions and state, institution and programme exceptions apply. Private institutions set their own fees. Budget for housing, food, health insurance, travel and required financial evidence using current official guidance; do not assume that all study in Germany is free.
Germany: Scholarships & Funding
Search the DAAD scholarship database and the university's own funding pages. Check nationality, degree level, subject, experience and deadlines; a DAAD listing is not an award offer. Base your budget on confirmed funding rather than a hoped-for scholarship.
Germany: Student Visa Guidance
Check the German Missions in India's current study-visa checklist for your qualification and circumstances. Admission, financial evidence, insurance and other documents may be required. Admyted provides educational planning and checklist guidance, not government approval; admission does not guarantee a visa.
